A short documentary I made as my film studies thesis between January and May 2020.

Deeply personal due to my family’s involvement, I wanted to share a piece of the aftermath of Amatrice’s 2016 earthquake, narrated by the people who lived through it.

The natural disaster marks the symbolic end of a pastoral innocence of which only memories remain, but the strong roots are hardly eradicated.
